I will also praise the admissions dept. Had a question that was misinterpreted and was transferred to the Asst. Director of Admissions, he talked to me for close to 30 mins! Answered every question I had and single-handedly created my desire to go Tech.

Submitted 1/11. Just went into review last week. Reverse splitter which is unfortunate. Had a buddy get waitlisted with 2.8/159. Seems they are really watching those GPA's!

I guess I did not initially see the scores listed, but then again, it is only one instance.

I was awarded a $2500/year scholarship. Not sure how I felt about the amount, but the gesture was surely nice. Is this used as a gesture to sway you to a school, but not really put any money behind it?

IMO, you're pretty late in the cycle, so that might be why the amount is low. Try to request some more money after April 15th.
