According to jac101689's math, Tech would be $225k for all three years.

That's not even accounting for interest.

This is geared toward undergrads (and there are places law students can go where they're not surrounded by college students), but I thought you all might appreciate this:

Anyone have issues with the waiver? Got an email a few weeks ago, but the screen is still showing the fee when I hit checkout.

Congrats to all who have been accepted. I withdrew all my applications to the other schools I applied to and am going to be a Red Raider again!

finally found the thread!
Checking in!
Reg decision, reverse splitter, in review 3/7
I will also praise the admissions dept. Had a question that was misinterpreted and was transferred to the Asst. Director of Admissions, he talked to me for close to 30 mins! Answered every question I had and single-handedly created my desire to go Tech.

Submitted 1/11. Just went into review last week. Reverse splitter which is unfortunate. Had a buddy get waitlisted with 2.8/159. Seems they are really watching those GPA's!

I guess I did not initially see the scores listed, but then again, it is only one instance.texasbama wrote:What do you mean by how so?the_dude83 wrote:How so?texasbama wrote:Submitted 1/11. I was awarded a $2500/year scholarship. Not sure how I felt about the amount, but the gesture was surely nice. Is this used as a gesture to sway you to a school, but not really put any money behind it?

IMO, you're pretty late in the cycle, so that might be why the amount is low. Try to request some more money after April 15th.the_dude83 wrote:I was awarded a $2500/year scholarship. I shall. Is Tech known to negotiate?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
