Yeah, same with FIU. Send over a negotiation e-mail like a week ago. Still nada.

Same. It's awful. I can get ahold of someone by phone very easily but this type of request I don't want to do with someone over the phone lol

I have gotten no responses or unhelpful responses through email and when I called, I was passed around to different admissions officers which was pretty annoying. Completely the opposite of other schools I've applied to which were helpful and quick in their answers.

Pretty typical Miami behavior. Although a beautiful area, "southern hospitality" does not apply to SE Florida.

How long did it take everyone to hear back about scholarship? Got accepted a week ago and thought it would come via email....or not?

I got my acceptance letter in the mail on 12/24 and got a letter about a scholarship on 1/17

Any one else get a scholarship letter increase by $3,000 a year? I didn't ask for it but received the letter yesterday.

Got the email to continue with my MM/JD application by applying to be considered for the Frost School of Music as well. Didn't know that costed another $85. Which I don't have after being drained from all the other apps.

Unless I get a scholarship letter soon, I'm going to withdraw.

My daughter was accepted to UM on Feb 10th (LSAC status checker), so it's too early to see if UM will offer a scholarship. She was accepted to FIU with a $47,000 scholarship. I am a practicing lawyer and follow TLS and LSN largely to satisfy my own curiosity. The application process has changed considerably since the 1980's. We filed paper applications and spoke with admissions officers over rotary dial telephones.

Admitted back in December - and earlier this week they sent me an e-mail stating that I've received a scholarship. (Though it didn't give an amount and said that the details are coming via snail mail - whatever.

) So just in case anyone is waiting to hear about $$$, there may yet be hope!

How long did it take everyone's scholly mail to get to them? I live abroad and they said they sent it 10 days ago...literally can't wait, I need to start negotiating with others. Should I email and say I haven't received it or wait it out? I'm impatient.

Well Im still waiting to hear about my scholly too but i also live overseas and my admission package got to me on the 18th of Feb.. It was sent on the 7th....

Give an update when u get ur package plz!!!!

FINALLY got it today! $30'000 p/year. Not too bad at all, don't think I'm going to be able to ask them for anymore....
