if it makes you feel any better I am in the same boat. In review since 1/23 with absolutely no change, and getting concerned because I have to put deposits down for other schools by 4/1. not sure if calling and asking for an expected decision date would do any good but it does concern me that accepted students weekend is this week and I haven't heard anything. hang in there!

Got into Temple with 30k a year. I'm hoping I get a similar offer from UMD. I'm getting nervous since I have to make a decision for some schools by April 1st.

Congrats! If you don't mind my asking, what date did your application go into review? Trying to gauge when I might finally get a decision. My app went into review 1/23 and haven't heard anything since. Not even a date change

I applied on 3/2, went complete on 3/6, in review on 3/10. accepted on 3/21

so i mean.. mine went to decision made on 3/21, still no email..? If I am rejected, does that mean the rejects don't even get notified via email? that's pretty sad...

My email was sent the same day my decision was made. I actually got the email before I saw the decision had been made on the tracker (I had checked it the day before, and it was still showing as "In Review"). So it seems that they at least emailed acceptances the same day the status tracker changed....

They said "all decisions are done by mail...we do not email anything nor can we tell you anything over the phone." Obviously that is not true.

I would say look for an email.

So I would say they may prefer to postmark decisions, but with seat deposit deadlines approaching, emailed out acceptances to prevent people from committing to other schools or excluding Maryland from their considerations bc they hadn't heard back yet. At least that is what I would do if I were in the admissions office this time of year...
