Hmm. I went under review on 11/13 as well, but I'm still in review. This may be a bad sign.AJ22 wrote:Thank you! It went under review 11/13.

I wouldn't worry about it too much at this point. Still lots of time to go, even for an UR of that date.kellohitty wrote:Hmm. I went under review on 11/13 as well, but I'm still in review. This may be a bad sign.AJ22 wrote:Thank you! It went under review 11/13.

Also, are you in-state or not? This has made a difference with sizable scholarships in the past.

Checked status checker today for the first time in awhile. It changed to "decision made" on 12/30 - so I'll be eagerly awaiting the letter now!

Has anyone seen any movement recently? I have been in review going on 8 weeks now (even though the status checkers says decisions will be rendered in 6)

Weird. I was updated as being back under review today. I expected an ED reject would be at the bottom of their list to review. Maybe they are culling the herd first?kellohitty wrote:Under review since 11/22. Anxiously waiting to hear back as I hit that 6 week mark today.jk148706 wrote:Same here. Kind of late to the game, but I received some information about their IP program that piqued my interest. Any one else applying with the intentions of studying IP law?

Re: IU Maurer c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
Hello Future Maurer Students!
I'm graduating in May and moving overseas in early June, and I've got a fantastic FURNISHED apartment if that's what you're looking for. It's over at Poolside (which no longer has a pool, but DOES have a pretty awesome back patio with bbq setup). The apartment is located on the first floor, closest to the patio and entrance for super-convenience (especially if you have a bike!)
I'm looking to sublet this FURNISHED apartment as early as May, and as late as June (great for Summer Starters), then you can sign a new lease with Poolside when mine runs out after a couple months. The sublet price I'm asking is discounted to $550/mo.
Since it's furnished very nicely, I'm asking $2000 for all the trimmings. You'll have everything you'll need to begin living as soon as you pick up the keys. This includes:
- an incredibly comfortable king size bed/mattress (bought new for $2,000 a couple years ago)
- two sets of bed sheets / pillows
- quilt comforter
- heavy, double-sided drapes in bedroom (to block out the light so you can sleep at odd hours)
- a black wooden chest (in bedroom pics) for storing off-season clothing, etc.
- standing jewelry box (in pics)
- dresser
- all my nice hangers
- wall-art and decor
- the HD tv (32" I think - need to double check) - barely ever used
- dining table and chairs (5)
- chandelier over dining table
- additional wine rack/counter/study area (unique to this apartment in Poolside only!)
- couch
- two wicker chairs in living room
- three small tables in living room
- a MASSIVE bookshelf
- spice racks and jars
- 2 lamps in living room, 2 in bedroom (one hanging)
- pots and pans
- Dishes, serving/eating utensils
If you want the bike, I can throw that in for an additional $600 (firm) - women's hybrid white Bianchi with solid rear basket for heavy groceries and a pump.
Basically, I'm trying to get rid of EVERYTHING, because I'm taking nothing with me but what fits on the plane. This is a great deal for someone who needs to furnish their own apartment, doesn't have time to do it themselves (pretty much all of you), but wants to live in a place with some well-decorated, fun style
It's a 1 BR apartment with a separate living room/kitchen area. I also built an additional cabinet-space area next to the kitchen (you can see it in the pics), it's got a wine rack, extra storage space, and extra counter space, which I felt was really necessary for this apartment, if you like to cook or store lots of groceries at home. The building is about 3 minutes walk to Maurer Law school, and there's 4 grocery stores within walking distance: Bloomingfoods Elm Heights, Sahara Mart, Kroger, and Bloomingfoods Market and Deli. It's also about a 5 minute walk to the bars on Kirkwood and even less to the restaurants on 4th.
It's a great apartment and I've really enjoyed living there the past few years. Quite a few law students choose to live there, since it's so conveniently located, and the landlord ONLY rents to graduate students. There's also an underground parking garage which is reasonably priced (although I've survived the entire time with just my bike). Poolside fills up FAST, so get in while there are still units available.
Water is included in the rent, and my electric is incredibly cheap, around $20/mo.
If you have Qs about the apartment, Summer Start (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!) or Maurer in general, feel free to shoot me a PM on TLS or on FB (see pics below). I'll delete this posting once the apartment has been taken, so if this is still up, it's still available. If you're in town, I'd be happy to meet up and show off the apartment.

As with Ohio State, today marks 10 weeks since I sent my application and I still have nothing. At least, IU has updated my status to 'in review,' though.kgiaco wrote:Maybe today will be the day we finally see some movement

I got an email about scholarship opportunities today, so that means that they're actively working today (hopefully). My status has been "in review" for over 8 weeks now. So much for the "Your file is now complete and has been sent to the committee for review. This process can take up to six weeks to render a decision."jk148706 wrote:As with Ohio State, today marks 10 weeks since I sent my application and I still have nothing.
