I got my status checker email on the 18th of September, if that helps.

Does anyone think that going under review early is a good sign? Berkeley is kind of a reach for me.

Are you complete? According to their website, files move to under review as files become complete. Maybe your app is missing something.

I'm not sure about that, but getting an early decision last year, as you pointed out, turned out to be an admit decision.

I doubt it's a bad sign. For comparison's sake, I got my status checker at the same time and went complete shortly after. Not UR today, and I'm certain that you are less of a reach than I am.

Yup, I'm a reach. My LSAT is a hair above median but my gpa is below 25%. I think I have legit good softs though and I'm an Iraq/afghan vet.

This is me minus the vet thing. My gpa is just slightly below the 25% mark. I am ready to ride the wait list and I'd pay sticker. Hopefully they want me....

Yeah, I am more of a reach. Median lsat and below 25th percentile gpa with vet status. It is the only school i would apply to with a binding early decision and money is taken care of. If i got accepted today i would probably send a seat deposit tomorrow.

I'm under review and I'm below 25 percent for both but I have excellent rec letters, excellent softs, and I'm an international student studying in America.

I'm in a similar situation. Median LSAT, below 25% GPA, and combat vet status. App complete in mid-September and went UR October 15th. I have what I would consider good softs. Berkeley is absolutely my #1. I hope this early(ish) review isn't false hope!

Oh god, my application just went under review. They notified via email. Submitted 9/18, complete 10/3. (I think.)

What does it say when you complete on your status checker? I've only got:

Status: We have received your application.

and a current status date. Does this mean I'm not complete yet?
