I went complete on Monday, and my status changed to 'evaluation in progress' today. How long are y'all stuck in that stage before a decision has been reached?

It's been a while for me. If you're not autoadmit or autoding, you could be sitting there for a bit.

+1.

Been waiting about 2 months at this stage. This is the last decision I am waiting on bar one, so it's a bit unnerving.

:/ I have the stats for an auto admit, but we'll see. I hope the process expedites itself very soon for the two of you, though.

Admitted to UC Davis Law! For all of those that have been Complete/UR for a long time, I can offer some hope. I was complete/UR for a couple months, and I was just admitted. Also, check your status checkers and your spam folder on your email. That's where my acceptance email went. PM for stats. I am also an alumnus of UC Davis.

So on all of my applications, I put my cell # but also that I didn't want to receive notifications via phone. Today, I got a text from UC Davis, as follows: "Congratulations on your admission to UC Davis School of Law, ____. We want you! Details are forthcoming. Please let us know what information you need to make a decision. Good luck. Kevin R. Johnson, Dean."

Is this standard? I wish I could text back, "a full ride would be nice," but I don't think that'd go over very well.

Pretty standard. I got the same text the day after I was accepted. If you definitely don't think you'll matriculate, you should text that. I would be curious about the answer haha.

I texted back some sort of formal thanks and that I was looking forward to more info/waiting on decisions from other schools. Immediately got "we want you!" As a reply. Kinda funny.

Haha I replied in the same way and got the response, "Come visit and say hello." My gf happened to being looking and saw the random 530 number and was like, "Who the hell is that?!"

Got a email from Davis about FAFSA and Need Access.
They have both from me already. One might think they could cross-reference their own information.
Their admissions office certainly isn't in a hurry, though, so perhaps it shouldn't come as a surprise.
Any movement lately for anybody from Davis?

No movement at all; applied on 1/15 and still stuck at "Application Received – Processing in Progress".

They're pretty slow. I wonder how fast they do scholarship after admitted. Does anyone know if they negotiate/match scholarships?

For what it's worth... I emailed the admissions office this week politley asking when I can expect a decision. Got a response shortly after saying that although no guarantees, I should expect an answer late this week or early next. Applied mid November, numbers right around medians.

For those who have been admitted (congratulations!), did your status checkers change prior to receiving the e-mail? Or did it stay as "Evaluation in Progress"?

Mine still said evaluation in progress.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
