I emailed them to check, since my decision to apply ED depends on October.Lavitz wrote:I believe this is correct, so wait until you're sure before starting one. This means if you're waiting for October LSAT scores to decide, you would have to wait until they come out. This may also mean that you wouldn't be able to apply RD and then switch to ED round 2.0913djp wrote:Question: If I start filling out a Regular Decision application, does this mean I cannot fill out a ED application if I choose to do so later?
I would call or e-mail admissions if you want to be sure. I would do it myself but I'm not an applicant, so that would be weird.

Haha thanks! And I got an automatic reply that whoever handles that account is out of the office until Monday, so I won't hear back until next week. I guess now is a good time to get used to waitingLavitz wrote:Yeah, I was thinking of you when I typed that. Thoughts on soliciting a fee waiver from Cornell (and other t-14s)? I just did with UVA and they replied ten minutes later saying yes. Couldn't hurt, right?

They usually only do unsolicited waivers, but right, couldn't hurt.Humbert Humbert wrote:Couldn't hurt, right?
Honestly, I'm surprised nobody's received one yet. This time last year everyone had received the viewbooks and fee waiver notifications in the mail. Maybe they're still in transit. Has anyone checked to see if they have a hidden fee waiver yet?

Checking in and also: no more EA? Is this new? And also interested in hearing about the fee waiver solicitation possibility...

I have 168/3.54 and can't decide if I need to ED. I was definitely going to EA and I think I will be happy with Cornell if I get in but I'm not sure if I want to commit this early in the cycle.

Figured I should post here too - got an email from Cornell today with a fee waiver. They also apparently sent an email without a fee waiver to others.

Is there anyone with a current LSAT score, also signed up for October, that received a fee waiver?

Re: Cornell c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
In regards to filling out an app and switching ED/RD, admissions told me I can beginning filling out the app and if my decision changes when I get my October score I could delete the app on LSAC and start the other. Hope this helps!

Lavitz,
You did an amazing job with the OP. My favorite so far of the c/o 2017 OPs.
If I end up at Cornell next year, we must be friends.
