As any FYI, you only get an email confirmation that they've received your LOCI if you email it to them.

Just submitted my LOCI. Kind of surprised that we haven't seen any movement yet. Last year they were pretty quick to make some offers in early May.

Has anyone submitted their transcript to Columbia directly or to LSAC after being put on reserve?

Yeah, way back in February, I updated my transcript via LSAC.Dekal2009 wrote:Has anyone submitted their transcript to Columbia directly or to LSAC after being put on reserve?

So does anyone think we'll see movement in the next 2 weeks?
I think so, because a) it said so in the letter and b) both Ivey and Deloggio cover something called "overlap reports" which were apparently sent out yesterday. Time to get that LOCI in ....

I did! I guess I just won't respond since I would still like to remain on the reserve list. Doesn't really seem like they want people e-mailing them back unless they don't want to be considered.eomea5 wrote:anyone else get that email just now about continued interest from the reserve group?

+1. I think this bodes well for CLS to start pulling from the waitlist at the end of May as they mentioned in the reserve letter.BigZuck wrote:+1jsjd1989 wrote:I did! ETA: I responded by telling them I voted Yes #1 in the TLS "Yes Yes Yes" poll. I'm in for sure now.

also, just wondering, but is there a general consensus as to why columbia puts soo many people on reserve? i mean, it's generally known to be impossible to get off of, right?

For the same reason applicants apply to safety schools they would never, ever actually attend.alphebetagamma wrote:also, just wondering, but is there a general consensus as to why columbia puts soo many people on reserve? i mean, it's generally known to be impossible to get off of, right?
