We can probably assume at least a little more so than usual, given the decreased number of applications. Or at least this is what I tell myself.

Up to 9 now. I got Boston University's waitlist notification this afternoon. So my official "waitlist" list (with one school still to hear from) is:

I'm a reverse splitter with some good (I think) softs. So I'm not too surprised with all the waitlists.

Can you confirm that's a WL from Stanford and not a typo? I think you're the only one who has reported a WL from Stanford so far.

I honestly believed I was a shoe in there. When I found out I got WL there I was ready to withdraw.....except they still havent sent me a formal letter/ email that informed me of this. So I am not going to bother.

I was, but it's rather moot in light of the DLS my status changed to on Friday. Rejection letter received Monday. Down to seven WLs now, so losing the competition but getting closer to winning my sanity back.

Agreed, I dont believe that I will gain admission of the WL but I guess you never really know

Alright, my cycle is officially complete. In the wise words of Macho Man Randy Savage, "Oh Yeah!" 9 waitlists total. Thank you all for making my waitlist bombardment something other than utter frustration. I hope your waitlists are extremely active and each of you get into the school you most desire.

For now, I'll take the belt and patiently wait for a challenger! I'm still secretly (or not so secretly) holding out for a cage match!
