Re: Princeton Law c/o 2016 (aka The Forgotten)
I'm bumping this because I want to know if like others, their cycle is STILL NOT OVER. IT'S MARCH, put me out of my misery.
List:
-the time you applied
-the # of schools you applied to
-the number you've heard back from
-the number of waitlists
-the number of no-decisions (helds would go here).
For me:
Late Nov/Early Dec
14
7

I'm getting increasingly frustrated. I'm hoping there will be some massive movement this coming week or something so I can get some peace of mind. I'm also assuming the 7 I haven't heard from still are going to be rejections since most of their classes must be filled already.

At this rate I will be missing out on some ASWs. Luckily most of the ones I'm still waiting on I'm not particularly dying to go to (funny how it worked out that way!) but still. Closure please.

Re: Princeton Law c/o 2016 (aka The Forgotten)
This is what's killing me, only some of those ASWs are schools I'd be extremely interested in. I get it that Harvard and Stanford are extreme reaches, but I am mostly dying to get a decision from Northwestern because I feel like it's attainable but is slipping down in terms of possible attendance the longer I wait to hear / if I can't attend the ASW...twinkletoes16 wrote:At this rate I will be missing out on some ASWs. Anywho:
Applied: Early-Mid November (except NYU, BU, and UCLA in January)
Applied #: 19
Decisions: 13
Waitilists: 0
No decisions: 5 (+ I withdrew from one pre-decision)

I know this must be incredibly frustrating, and I would be getting angsty in your position too. If you break it down by school though, your not in that strange or disappointing a place with regards to timing: You just interviewed with Cornell, so you'll be hearing from them very soon. Chicago is notoriously slow this cycle, but categorically slow, and they will reach December applicants for interview invites methodically (I'm betting this week). Hardly anyone has gotten into stanford yet and numerous september applicants are still waiting (we will probably wait until April).. for CLS and HLS, the holds are some action & mean you know your application was reviewed. I can't speak to virginia and penn cause I didn't apply or do any research on their patterns. and you got in to your first 7!twinkletoes16 wrote:I'm bumping this because I want to know if like others, their cycle is STILL NOT OVER. Edit: also I'm just relieved we didn't hit faculty review at berkeley. that seems like the most excruciating and devastating process.

Good stuff here.chadbrochill wrote:So...I hope you guys don't mind but I'm thinking about setting up shop in this thread for my general waiting angst. Feeling pretty great at the moment, got a full week ahead of us: 5 working days, 6 straight days of snail mail possibility.
For me, I feel pretty cheery and optimisitic M-Thurs, after which things get ugly but i hold out a smidgen of hope. Saturdays after empty-handed snail mail check have been the worst.
Yale had a lot of movement this past weekend, I'm hoping this bodes well for movement in general now that its March. This is the week guys! I feel it in my bones ^_^
