Does anyone know if there is always an interview to go from stage 1 to stage 2?

NO. I got acceptance email two days ago without an interview.

Did you mark in your app that you wanted to have an interview? I think there was a question there asking about interviews...

Right, no I didn't because, if I remember correctly, the interview is conducted by an alumni in your area? Well I'm an international applicant (Canada) so I figured that'd be unnecessary.

Same here. I'm also an international applicant. I'm from China actually. No interview area is applicable to me.

Update: Ask and you shall receive! They're offering $200 reimbursed and $.555 per mile for drivers. Anybody interested, shoot them an e-mail.

I just checked my status page and it says Decision Rendered!

I can't wait for the email! I hope its a good one.

Anyone know how long it usually takes to receive the email after the Decision Rendered notification on the status check page?

I haven't received any scholarship email, although I was fairly certain I would be receiving some $. Can anyone who has received $ go on their status check and let me know if under "mailings" mentions that a scholarship email was sent, along with the admit email?

There is mention of a scholarship e-mail. Mine was sent less than an hour after my admit e-mail. Hope that helps.

I've been in stage 2 since 2/4. Admissions said a decision would be made in two to four weeks. you might want to check w/ the admissions office to see what is going on w/ your app.

Yeah mine did too. I thought I wasn't going to be offered any $ and I was pissed. Then randomly I saw the email, "Great News from CWRU" haha

45K with an additional 5K stipend my first year. I am happy with this, however I'm going to try and negotiate this and see how much more I can get

I haven't applied to Case but Dean Mitchell came to my college today to speak to prospective students and he was a very nice guy who seemed to really care about his students deeply. If what he was saying was true I can see them going up in rankings. The only problem I see is Ohio.

Looking for a furnished apartment in Shaker Heights, Cleveland Heights, or Beachwood area, but would consider other areas as well!! Looking for mid/late May to mid August!
