Finally went under review again (2/12) after my ED app was held on 11/28

I also went under review again (2/12) after being held on 11/28. At this point, as a very much borderline candidate and having had no interview offers, I am >99% sure I am headed for one of the waitlists.

Anyone think it means anything for those of us who haven't gotten any updates yet? I'm still sitting at Application Completed 11/13, interviewed in mid-December (was very positive), and held late December.

Well, looks like they're going through the holds chronologically (to be fair, we only have a couple of data points): the previous posters who have gotten updates/decisions were held in November. For example, there's an 11/26 hold who got updated 2/8, and an 11/28 hold that got updated 2/12. So I think us December holds will just have to continue to be patient!

except i got held in early january and also got the 2/12 update. so there doesn't seem to be a method to their madness :/

Maybe they're going in reverse alphabetical order by height. Or something.

Or, maybe they're going by last update to application (ie LOCIs, additional materials)? I submitted a LOCI and addendum in mid-January after my mid-December hold. Argh, I crave order and structure in their decision-making process; randomness frightens me.

Just got rejected. Also, lol to the bolded line from the letter given this cycle.

Last year, we received over 8,000 applications for the 575 places available in our first year class, and each year the quality of our applicant pool continues to increase.

Same boat here. Interview on 11/13, held on 11/29, no movement until it updated to 2/12 and now to 2/13. WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO DO TO US!

I FINALLY updated from 11/26 to 2/13 after being held around January 5. There seems to be a lot of anger regarding how GULC has handled aid applications over on the regular Georgetown thread. This also seems to be accompanied by many withdraws. Maybe this will be good news for some of us on this held thread!

I'm hoping that when they held me in October they didn't yet appreciate the drop in applications that law schools were going to see.
