Loyola seems to be cutting the 15 Feb Early Notification deadline decently close...

Thank you. I feel for you guys for sure. Yeah, I was FLOORED by the response time, I thought it was an automatic ding. And absolutely, I've got a 3.3/167 from a Big Ten school in Environmental Management. My mom is a Loyola alum, which may have something to do with the quick acceptance time, but she's not a donor and only attended for 2.5 years before graduating (so I really hope they're not expecting me to a genius like her haha).

I applied early notification 10/19 and heard 12/20 so I don't think everyone who applied early is waiting. I would maybe give them a call if you don't hear anything soon and find out what the deal is.

Eh I applied 1/14 and they say they'll reply by 2/15. My numbers are strong for them and I don't think a month is all that long; I'm thinking positively that they're holding me to consider my app for merit aid and will release both at once.

Any one have any status checker updates? I've got a blank spot on Feb. 18. Don't know what that means, but I'm hoping for financial aid info pretty soon. Loyola is right at the top of my list, so I'm dying to know.

Anyone else applied to any fellowships and heard anything?

Just wanted to share the Go-To Law School ranking by the National Law Journal. For a top 60-ish school, Loyola is killing it!

I agree. This is what makes Loyola with money a viable option for someone with significant Chicago ties over a T30-40 school.

Yeah, definitely. I wonder if this is also an indicator of the upoming 2014 US News Law School Rankings. Hopefully, Loyola goes up in the ranking!

I have that update as well under the Mailings section. I'm applying for a fellowship and sending it in this week, since they're due Friday I assume people will start hearing after then.
