Are there are status updates after UR before a decision?

Not sure. But last year, the first big wave went out the first week of February. Let's be optimistic?

I was admitted in November, and this scholarship wait is killing me!! I love the idea of UNC, but as with anywhere right now, funding is a huge question mark.racrfish wrote:Yes, they are very slow to respond.
Scholarships won't come out until March.
Best of luck to those still waiting on decisions.

In via email with Chancellors' Scholars Program invite! My parent live in the area, so UNC with $150k would be unbelievably tempting.

I was surprised by the really quick turnaround from UR to decision.

Re: UNC Class of 2016
In today as well
3.56/170/Out of state with ties. It has always been one of my very top choices, so I'm thrilled they took me!
Probably going to be UNC vs. T14 at sticker price, barring a small miracle during scholarship negotiation time. Good news when they pass out financial aid in March would definitely make becoming a Tar Heel very attractive.

Re: UNC Class of 2016
I submitted 11/18, but I retook the LSAT in December and I'm pretty sure they were waiting for it, even though they didn't specifically say so. Under review 2/5, decision 2/6. So despite the fact that my application must have been sitting in a pile for months, the turnaround was very quick after hitting UR.CMC88 wrote:Congrats! Edit: Oh, and thank you! I peeked at your profile and saw your stats, I'm sure you'll be golden as soon as they get around to reviewing you

Anyone have an idea of how long I should expect for it to take to go under review? My application was complete 1/22. Kind of hate that I applied later because UNC is certainly among my very top choices at this point.
