I got one from Duke early on too. I am 163/3.66, so far from Duke's priority range. Do you think they sent those out to game the stats or with some legit intentions?

I take it as essentially a $20 lottery ticket for a T14. My guess is they're trying to game the stats but if you get lucky they'll see something they really like in your app and then you're golden. Always worth taking a shot when it's basically free.

according to LSN there were decisions released on the 19th but beyond that nothing until after the holidays

So I was just accepted into International Affairs Master's program at American as well! I would graduate with a JD and an Master's. This changes things.

Same here. They said the letter would leave in 4-7 business days so it should be here any time now.

I also got in on the 21st and had a letter waiting for me when I got home on the 30th. Even with Christmas and New Year's it has been seven business days, and they say a letter should arrive in that time frame, not be sent. It may be worth calling or sending an email.
