ok thanks man...it seems that admissions numbers for spring start are significantly lower than fall start with median lsat at 157!! Makes me feel like im being held back with the rest of the "special kids" for spring lol...my numbers are very low for Baylor tho 157 3.46 so I guess i should just be happy im even waitlisted for fall

I wouldn't worry. I got in with a 169 but for Spring only (applied early Jan.)

Sent an email withdrawing my spring admission today, but also just submitted my fall application.

Congrats!!! Be sure to check their admitted students website once you get your packet. They are hosting little dinners all around the US to meet with other students and staff. Plus, you know, its free food.

FYI, I'm still waiting for mine too, I called the admissions office (because it had been two weeks), and Suzy informed me that they were mailed out a bit later because the Dean was out of town and she personally looks at/signs each lettter.

Anyways they've been sent out and should be there by friday.

Got my packet today for Spring 2014. Came with a 9k/year scholly contingent on a 2.75 Gpa. Right now I'm leaning towards withdrawling unless I can get bumped up to fall but we'll see

my decision letter was mailed...i wonder why it wasn't emailed? is this a bad sign?

If I remember correctly Baylor does not release decisions through email. My acceptance and scholly was all through snail mail. So it is not a bad sign. Sending good vibes your way!

Thanks! And I'm not really sure--she just said on the phone that she really liked my personal statement and that they were sending scholarship info in my packet. She also told me about an upcoming event for students in the Bay Area.

Mine said "XXX, we have a proven and distinct program and I hope you attend" or something along those lines.
