I'm a bit nervous about spending that kind of money for a chance of getting employment. However, in order to reach my future objectives, I must have a JD. There is no way around that. And, Seton Hall Law is the highest ranked school that I got into. I'm a bit older than most of the people on this board so that is something I'm taking into consideration. I think anyone considering law school should not make the decision lightly.resilience99 wrote:how does everyone feel about investing in a seton hall j.d.? does anyone think the market will be better when we graduate after 3 years? just curious.

Accepted with a 35k scholly a few weeks back and just received the Dorothy Day scholarship worth 10k.
Makes my annual scholarship 45k on a 75% stipulation.
Right now I am contemplating That offer with my full ride at Rutgers Camden.
Hmmm

I didn't even apply, it was sent to me.
If you look online they list their scholarships.
Trust me - it was a surprise to me.
I did write an adversity statement and the Dorothy Day is, supposedly, awarded to individuals with diverse or disadvantaged backgrounds.

Sitting on $45,000 right now, not sure about the deposit yet - might let it pass and see what they do.

Made mine last night. Also submitted one to Brooklyn (hoping they give me more $ as I haven't given my deposit for my scholarship yet).resilience99 wrote:Deadline looming...anyone send in deposit yet?

Yea I was only torn between commuting to SH and saving living expenses.resilience99 wrote:sonded like you were sure of rutgers - camden?dirtrida2 wrote:Sitting on $45,000 right now, not sure about the deposit yet - might let it pass and see what they do.
Though with the Rutgers stipend it makes it a little more feasible. Still plan on asking for more though.

OK... Brooklyn asks for a $200 merit scholarship deposit. I didn't pay that.resilience99 wrote:what do you mean by you didn't make a deposit for the scholarship yet?jack5on wrote:Made mine last night.
