I did the supplemental application and everything. Is this a status that everyone sits on for a while, or should I call on Monday to figure out what I didn't do?
Also, congrats to people with early acceptances.
Not to be a downer, but your chances are very slim =/. You should definitely re-take. I applied last cycle with that exact LSAT and got rejected everywhere worth attending. I re-took and scored 9 points higher and have already been accepted into a top-40 school. I wish you luck, but don't get discouraged if this cycle doesn't work out. Not everyone is capable of re-taking and scoring 170+, but a 160+ is definitely achievable if you put in the time.LowLSATSadFace wrote:Under Initial Review... will probably be under initial review until they start sending out rejection letters. LSAT: 153((((((( Someone kill me. GPA: 3.5 Bachelors and Masters in Accounting when I graduate in 2013. Internship at US Attorney's Office. Good Letters of Rec from US Attorney, Chief of Police Clearwater, and two accounting professors. IF ONLY ANY OF THAT MATTERED!!!!!
Maybe I'll get an accounting job next year and retake the LSAT next year after I graduate.
Wish me luck!!! I have about a 3% chance of getting admitted to UF. Got accepted to Stetson Law but I'm not sure if I want to go. Wish I was better at the LSAT!

Everyone on here who had this status received a decision very shortly after. Hopefully the same goes for us. Good luck!
Good luck to you as well! I just want to know already...eas09d wrote:slawww wrote:+1.LowLSATSadFace wrote:File Reviewed. No Decision Reached.

I met the director of admissions when she came to my school for a law school fair earlier in the semester. I got the same status on 11/19 and I emailed her about it; she said they hold a lot of applications this early in the cycle to see what other applicants they get, and it could be a while before they notify you with a final decision. Sorry, I don't mean to be a downer! She did say though that it's nothing to be concerned about; you can still get accepted, it just means they want to wait a bit before giving you a yes and see what else comes their way.
My numbers are 158/3.95 and I'm a FL resident. Hope this helps!

Totally agree. If you're not in or above their "bubble," you're going to get put on hold. Good luck to you too!slawww wrote:eas09d wrote:slawww wrote:+1.LowLSATSadFace wrote:File Reviewed. No Decision Reached.

Yeah, i think it definitely depends on your numbers, but even auto-admits go through this status as well. I applied last year with a much lower LSAT and was on "No Decision Reached" for about a week before getting dinged. Feeling pretty good this time around, good luck!

I just thought I'd throw my $.02; no matter where you go, a good bump in LSAT could earn you tens of thousands in scholly money. Combine that with saving for a year and you could be setting yourself up for a much more manageable debt-load after graduation.LowLSATSadFace wrote:Thanks for the encouragement guys. Much needed every once and a while. Still weighing my options with Stetson and stuff... so expensive.... but we'll see..... THANKS!!!! Most probably going to try to take the LSAT again next semester.

I was under review for 7 days & then switched to "No Decision Reached" yesterday.Gotallanswers wrote:Status just changed to under initial review by committee. Anyone know how long till it changed again. The October LSAT score wait ate away at me pretty badly.

Anyone switch from NDR to Decision Reached yet? (excluding everyone who already said they were in, of course)
I understand they have probably left this intentionally vague in order to give them more space with awarding scholarships and waiting until more people have applied. Nevertheless, does anyone know when one should expect to hear about a merit-based scholarship or has someone already been offered one?"Merit-Based Scholarships: Scholarships are awarded through March 2013. No additional application required. Recipients will be notified by mail."
Last year there were essentially two major batches of scholarships, with some stragglers coming in later. The first one was in mid-December, and the second was in mid-January. As I said, more came later but they were few and far between.Dimitri wrote:For those of you who have been accepted, does anyone know what the deal is with merit scholarships? From the papers that came with my admissions decision this is the only information that I can find:
