Me as well. Is anyone feeling up to the task of digging through last year's thread to see if this meant anything decision wise ie hearing something this week?WhiteyCakes wrote:I'm an RD. +1 on the date change.ChampagnePapi wrote:For ED only or RD as well? Looks like letters were mailed out and people started receiving them around Oct. 20th. I think that the application opened on October 1 last year though, so who knows whether that means earlier decisions this year.RSterling wrote:Me as well. Interesting. I didn't know that. Combing through LSN though, it looks like some people received decisions the first week of Oct. Does GT send physical letters out then? No emails/phonecalls?WhiteyCakes wrote:Looks like letters were mailed out and people started receiving them around Oct. 20th. Hm, not sure where you see that. I think last year the first decisions came out around Oct 17th. Anyway, yeah, it seems like we'll be waiting for letters, not emails.RSterling wrote: Interesting. You're right. I got mixed up. Here's hoping that an earlier app opening date means early acceptances.one_by_one wrote:Hm, not sure where you see that. Mid-Oct RD last year, but apps opened two weeks earlier this year which is why I'm somewhat hopeful for early Oct RD decisions.ChampagnePapi wrote:For ED only or RD as well? And if you see your status go to decision you could probably try to login to the admitted students page.

PT at Gtown is harder admissions than T-30 and still a Gtown education. PT Gtown > Most FT

But easier then T14hunter.d wrote:PT at Gtown is harder admissions than T-30 and still a Gtown education. PT Gtown > Most FT

I have the stats to be competitive for a GULC PT acceptance going off the information on the TLS profile page. If it doesn't work out I think I will be pursuing the job opportunity while I study for a retake.

Not a bad plan. You also will have an extra year of work experience in addition to an improved lsat.

And LS isn't going anywhere + another year of GPA raising grades = Win/Win/Win.hunter.d wrote:Not a bad plan. You also will have an extra year of work experience in addition to an improved lsat.
But best of luck in your cycle! If it all works out I hope to see you at GULC!

I know Georgetown snail mails our acceptances. Will our status reflect this? For example, when the acceptance or rejection is mailed, will the status say "Mail sent; check mail" or something like that?
