Is that Maggie Lizer in your 'tar?
Why hello, Barry. I hear you're very good.

I am very good, but don’t get too close to me. ’Cause I’ve got an itch you can’t believe. I think something laid eggs on me.

It could be worse. You could have an irreversible case of ocular retinoblastoma.

By the way, do you happen to know anything about the Maritime Law clinic at Michigan?

As a reminder, there's always this thread. Alternatively, I check this thread whenever I see it bumped. But keep in mind I'm only a 1L.

I'm reapplying to Michigan and emailed them asking for a fee waiver around September 1st. Have not turned my app in and just received a status checker........

What does this mean?

LOL just got my first decent CRS haul in the form of a view book and letter from the dean, with a handwritten note no less. And a fee waiver, which is a couple of weeks too late since I've already applied.

But still, it's nice to get something other than e-mail spam from TTTs.

I see that some people have already been emailed their status checker. I got the "JD Application Received" email on September 4th but still haven't heard anything else. The original email said the checker should take about a week...has anyone else been waiting this long?

I've been waiting about a week but last year Mich took over a month to complete my application so I don't think it's all that unusual.

I've been checking my status checker daily (even though I know that I won't hear anything for a while), and the "Last Updated" date always changes to reflect the current date. Are they actually making changes with my status each day, or does that section always just reflect the current date? I need some perspective from others who have their status checkers.

It updates every workday no matter what. It doesn't mean anything (speaking from experience from last cycle).

Pretty sure I threw away my Michigan packet.
Was there a fee waiver code in there, or is it applied to your LSAC account automatically?

Finally submitted today. It felt incredible, until I realized I have a very long wait ahead of me. And chances are likely that you'll be reading this exact post on multiple threads.

I got the same little note haha! Mine was "hope you'll apply!"

Just applied today. 168, 3.92. "international" applicant (Canada). Out of undergrad for 2 years, worked abroad and curently working in Quebec as a political adviser. Good softs.

Good luck everyone! :)

Michigan Law Professor Bridget McCormack cuts an ad with pretty much all of the West Wing cast.

Enjoy.
