Thanks! though it was 12:14 AM technically...and I forgot to assign my LORs until around 3 am when I got back from my night out. Might not be top of the pile like I wanted :/ (if it even works that way)Eichörnchen wrote:12 AM the day of? You are my hero.shadowofjazz wrote:Who knows? Somehow I still think you'll be on the top of the pile.
By the time mine gets in, you'll be lightyears ahead of me!

You'll do fine with your numbers!Eichörnchen wrote:Somehow I still think you'll be on the top of the pile.By the time mine gets in, you'll be lightyears ahead of me!
Anyone else send in an application yet (ED or RD)? No status checker email yet for me (expected, though, since they won't be looking at anything until Tuesday).

So jelly. I was so bummed to be snubbed for PT.BosKX8 wrote:My ED app is ready to submit, but I'm tempted to wait until I hear back from Duke (applied PT yesterday). My numbers are pretty on par with Duke's medians (LSAT a few points higher), so if I get a rejection it would be a sign that something is seriously off with my PS, LOR's, resume etc.
Good luck though! Can't wait to hear when you find out-- did you apply ED?

I'm finishing up my essays now. How long was your Why UVA jazz? I'm not sure if I should cut mine down. I tried to be brief, but I think I kinda just rambled.

Mine was a full page double spaced. I talked about two programs and Charlottesville/softball, one paragraph for each of those.Dr. Filth wrote:I'm finishing up my essays now. Cool cool cool. Thanks. I was worried that anything over a page might be overdoing it.shadowofjazz wrote:Mine was a full page double spaced. Re: UVA c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013 cycle)
There's no limit on how long your addendum can be. Just take note that UVA only wants ONE addendum that can have multiple sections divided by page breaks. I missed that when I applied and sent 3 addenda (why uva, lsat, and gpa) - stupid that it let me attach 3 when they only want 1...hopefully that won't hurt me because its all converted to PDF at the end!Dr. Filth wrote:Cool cool cool. Don't you think that if you submitted first at 12am, when they printed the apps at 8am today you'll be on the bottom of the pile as the first one printed...?

I'm sure they're smart enough to look at the time-stamps, though I doubt they printed them today since its a federal holiday. Regardless, anyone who submitted on Saturday should get a decision by Saturday 9/15.lnz103 wrote:Don't you think that if you submitted first at 12am, when they printed the apps at 8am today you'll be on the bottom of the pile as the first one printed...?

Where is the requirement that they only want one?shadowofjazz wrote:There's no limit on how long your addendum can be. If so, how should the page note go?
