I think there will be a fair amount of action in the next couple weeks.

So was I... I got a call from an unfamiliar number with the 310 area code and got all excited... it was my doctor's office. Yay.

I'm sorry, but that just sounds hopelessly optimistic. After all, it could be that UCLA hasn't seen any real movement in its class size, so there won't be any WL acceptances.

I'm sorry you feel the need to respond with such negativity to my post. My intention was simply to contribute to the discussion, insert a little reality into the situation, and inject a bit of (admittedly somewhat black) humor into our mutual situation. I understand that we all deal with the disappointment of hearing nothing back from UCLA differently, but I think that your post is bordering on cruel and would appreciate it if you would consider your words more carefully before posting them to the Internet. I won't speak further on this issue.

Actually I was told the application pool was 20% smaller this year. Probably due to all the fear of unemployment discussed with prelaw students. And that they would most likely pull more than usual from the waitlist. So be pessimistic if that works for you :] I'll base my hope on that.
