Got this email today:

Dear Charles:

You are one of a small number of applicants remaining on the waiting list. It is likely that we will admit an applicant or applicants from the waiting list on but not before Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

If you wish to be considered should a position become available, reply to this e-mail and provide a telephone number where you can be reached on Wednesday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. If you do not respond to this email, you will not be considered.

Thank you for your continued patience and for your interest in the University of Georgia School of Law.

JUST GOT AN EMAIL ABOUT THE WAITLIST!!!! Anybody else get this?

What should I do? I have already become acquainted with people at my backup school and even signed a lease at my new apartment!!! However, I think UGA will be a better decision financially. Gosh, I was so excited about leaving the state of Georgia to go to my new school but I know overall tuition/rank is more important. Anyways who knows if I'll get in... been waiting all summer.

P.S. I hate how they always say "small number of applicants" to give us hope when in reality, we are competing with at least 15 other people at the moment. If they are taking us off last minute like that, most likely, it will be 1 of us, at most 2.

What are y'alls numbers again? This whole summer has been nerve wracking haha. Where are you guys planning on attending?

3.7 gpa, lsat is lower than yours. All I got going for me is a diversity statement.

Ohhh.. Lol! Yeah.. I should, but I can't pass up on the opportunity to save tens of thousands of dollars... so gotta stay on this waitlist. I even changed my flight to CA to that morning after Judgement Day.
