Anyone admitted back on Dec. 23rd still waiting on their acceptance packet? Just curious if I need to contact them about it.

I haven't been admitted yet, but you should wait it out for a while. For the schools that I was accepted to already, sometimes I waited about a month to get anything else from them. Schools are on break right now, so wait until 2-3 weeks after the semester starts again to contact them.

Admissions package is nothing special. It told me nothing that I didn't already get in the e-mail. Still waiting for my myIIT ID. I don't know where, when, or how they plan on telling people about scholarship information either.

Kent would be a fine option for Illinois residents who are OK with small law or possibly government work, but only if big scholarship money (35k+ a year). Otherwise it just simply costs too much to justify the pitiful job chances. NALP only lists 20ish law firms that actually visit OCI and that includes multiple offices.

Just got myIIT login information. Doesn't seem to be anything scholarship info on their yet, however parts of the site don't seem to be fully up and running yet.

I have other options which are ranked higher and that would be cheaper to attend. I just don't think it would be smart to pay anything even close to sticker to attend Kent. Hopefully they will be free handed with the scholarship money.

Yeah, what they all said. This is the only Chicago school I applied to, so I'm really hoping for some $$ because it's one of the top three cities I'd love to move to.

Without a substantial scholarship I will probably pass.

With a 160/3.5, any guesses on how much money, if any, I'd receive? DePaul gave me 75% and if I could muster up around the same amount, I'd definitely give it a consideration.

For those strongly considering Kent, who else is extremely worried about the Chicago legal market?

Mine was updated on 12/19 and got accepted on 1/6. Factor in that the Admission Office was closed from December 23rd (1pm) until the 3rd of January.
