It seems UConn is a bit slow about now. I was hoping to hear something by Christmas (Complete 12/1) but I'm not even in the UR pile that a lot of you are in

I submitted my application on 12/9, went complete 12/12, and went UR 12/13. I'm in-state and applying for full-time. Maybe they are doing all the in-state and/or full-time applications first.

Could you also add your numbers too? it could be they apply an index formula and those of us who are just a tad south of their formula's median (like me, 157/3.5 PT) might be held back until more apps come in.

I'm 3.37/159-I'm at the median LSAT and a little under median on GPA, so it probably doesn't have to do with an index. Who knows?

I doubt it (162, 3.7) but I think may be the in state/out of state could be true if they set quotas on residency.

12/1 UR here. FT, in-state, 3.5/170.

Holding out for a major scholly, but will probably be withdrawing otherwise.

Don't mean to double-post, but I was just accepted via email. Those who went UR 12/1, check your inboxes.

Just accepted! No mentio scholarship in email. Anyone have an idea of when? Or where that February date is coming from?

Did your status ever say "Under Review"? I have been complete since 11/30, and no movement since then. Are you in state?

In as well (they only do so via email, from my understanding).

Stats: 169, 3.6, great softs

I also understand that scholarship information comes out later, around February or so.

For those who got in, there is a Facebook group (link is on the accepted students page). Just an fyi!

Yes, it went from "Complete" on 12/12 to "Application in Review" on 12/13. I am in-state. I thought I had applied rather late, so maybe they go through the in-state applications first.

Hmm... in-state full-time here and went complete on 11/22/11 but still no movement on my status checker, which still says "Complete". My numbers are 158/3.11 so maybe they have to take a deeper look at me and thus are waiting. I hope this is the case since my softs should be very solid for UConn (paralegal WE at an NLJ250 firm in NYC and Shipman & Goodwin LLP in Hartford, home of dozens of UConn law grads, essay geared toward community service and urban renewal in Hartford, etc.)

Ugh, but at the same time I leave for Europe tomorrow for two weeks... please for the love of God let me in today or tomorrow and send me off well!!!!

Not to be a downer, because I certainly hope and think you deserve to get in, but my friend was WL with a similar LSAT and higher GPA (also in-state, FT) last year. He eventually got in, and his resume wasn't nearly as impressive as yours.

Hey, he got in, didn't he? All optimism over here! Also, if you were at the open house, Dean DeMeola mentioned that their medians are decreasing this year as applications are down with an LSAT median of 159 and a lower GPA median. Hopefully this means good things for me. If they ignore my resume and rec from a partner from one of their top hiring firms, then hey I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Edit: PS -- CONGRATS TO YOU ALL!!! Did any of you get a decision without the application status ever changing from "Complete"?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
