Sitting in Spokane for my Gonz tour. I'll let you know what I think.

Oh, it's 18 degrees outside.

My "decision rendered" status appeared Wednesday morning, and I received the admission packet Saturday. I live in Ballard, so if you're in the Seattle area you should hear soon.

The campus is awesome. It sits right on the river. Pretty big facilities, really nice people, very open to all my questions. I loved it and I really liked Spokane.

I went to UG here. The law school is beautiful, but I'm not sure about the job prospects coming out of it.

Just accepted with $17,500 scholarship so that pushes it to the top of my list, it's just good to have a decent offer :D

Any more recommendations on nice but affordable places to live near the school?

In addition to what I said above, you could live in the new Kennedy Apartments on campus. I lived their my junior year, and it was really nice. It's primarily for juniors/seniors, but I know some grad students lived there.

And I'll reiterate to avoid living in the Logan neighborhood (the one surrounding campus). 1L year is stressful enough without having to worry every night about someone stealing your shit or breaking into your car.

So ready to start at GU this fall! I'm a native Floridian, so I'm anxious to see what these 'seasons' are. It has been in the eighties down here since mid-January.

Oh. And what's this 'snow' phenomenon all about? Do you get that at the grocery store and put it on your driveway to shovel? Seems kind of dumb, but I guess it's a northern thing.

How long did everyone have to wait to receive their decision in the mail? I am sitting at Decision Made status, and have been like that for about 6 days with nothing in the mail. Starting to wonder if they are delivering using pony express or something....

OK, I guess it takes about 7 days for the mail to reach Colorado from Gonzaga - Good News printed on the envelope.

Hey y'all!

Congrats to those who were accepted! Also, good luck to everyone waiting or on a wait list!

I sent in my application in Feb and my app went complete April 2nd! wow! Oh well, its now in review, and I was wondering, from all those who received a decision, can tell me how long it takes to see a status change? Any insight? 5-8 weeks like the usual?

Thanks y'all!

In my case it was about 15 days between going complete and decision made. Then you'll have about an additional week to wait for the decision to arrive via snail mail. Hope that helps, and good luck!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
