Got my admissions packet with scholarship info today after getting accepted in the first group in December. 12k/yr, top half stip. I'm in state, numbers above both 75ths.

Law school for 7k a year is a pretty good bargain. That's better than most undergrads. I'm a little surprised they aren't giving full rides/

It is a good deal. I'm not sure if I'm going to try and negotiate to have the stips removed and maybe get some more money. Temple did give some full rides last year but I think I was probably seen as unlikely to attend. I applied because I'm a Philly native and a law school legacy. I'm in at Penn so I think Temple would have to be free to compete.

I would think they'd give you a full ride if you were to show them a Penn acceptance. I'm not sure which I would pick if I was from the area and wanted to stick around Philadelphia. Penn could take you anywhere, but if you only wanted to stay you could probably get a lot of worthwhile jobs in the area if you graduated high from Temple. It's a good problem to have, congrats.

I got 4k. Unless Penn comes through it might be a long time till I eat a philly cheese steak again. I suppose my heart will thank me in the long run. Good luck everyone.
