I haven't seen any trash talking. Insular and South Carolina go hand in hand. You can look back at threads about SC in years past and you'll see the word insular used over and over again. Even my professors have warned me its tough getting a law job around here. Lots of people who have made these comments actually live in this state, so believe what you want.Scotusnerd wrote:My decision letter got mailed today as well. I'm really excited since I just put in my application last week. That was a quick turnaround. I must have caught them right before a rolling date.
Best of luck, Icecold. I hope we both get acceptances and scholarships.
Cutecarmel is right on target. I'm with her on your guys' post. There seems to be a lot of trash-talking of South Carolina, and I wish people would actually experience the school and the lawyer community before posting about it.
And eandy was just being honest and truthful in saying that S. Carolina has gone down hill over the years, dropping out of Tier 2 completely usually happens for a reason, and I even had an alumni tell me just recently that they think the quality of the school has gone down a lot in the last ten years or so.
