Out of curiosity, does anyone know when they stop reviewing EA? Thanks! Also, does everyone's status read "application complete" or does it read "under review?"

She told me the same thing. Got my welcome packet in the mail today, but nothing on scholarships yet. I was accepted on Friday, though, so it could still be a while.ralph_pootawn wrote:Anyone know when we will hear about scholarships? I just recieved my acceptance package and there was no mention of any scholarships. When I talked to the dean on the phone on friday she said to expect a package in the mail in the next 2 weeks with some scholarship info. Anyone recieve scholly info with their acceptance package?

IN via status checker!
174/superior, applied 09/22, non-binding early action. Not a Texas resident.
Under "Status Updates" it says "Admission was granted on October 28, 2011." There is also a link to pay my enrollment deposit.
I didn't get a phone call or an email.

Are any of these acceptances RD decisions? I submitted 9/28 RD with 169/3.66. Definitely would be nice to start my cycle with a UT acceptance! I feel stupid for not having chosen the EA option

The UT website says you apply EA just by submitting your application before November, right? I didn't think there was a special option to select.BuckinghamB wrote:Are any of these acceptances RD decisions? I submitted 9/28 RD with 169/3.66. Re: Texas 2011-2012 Applicants
I think there was an option on the application. Since my file's completion (10/6), my status checker has said I'm being considered for Regular Decision. For some reason I think I saw the words "Early Decision" on the app and instinctively (and stupidly) thought it was a typical binding one like most EDs. Why can't they just call it Early Action instead??? Oh well...guess I'll just have to wait.

The very first line when you open up the App PDF states what option you selected for your application ED or RD.tamereth wrote:The UT website says you apply EA just by submitting your application before November, right? Re: Texas 2011-2012 Applicants
Well now I'm waiting with all of yall! LSAT167 and GPA 3.63 (and TX resident attending UT undergrad) so a bit of a stretch but not impossible. This may seem like a silly question, but I submitted my UT app on the morning of Oct. 31 intending to do ED but it says that the report was generated Nov. 1. So even though LSAC says request received for Oct 31, am I still considered for ED? I'm not sure what the postmark will say and I'm getting kind of worried.

I think you're fine. For other schools I know that the Nov 1st deadline means that the latest you can send them IS Nov 1st, not before.

Re: Texas 2011-2012 Applicants
I actually called them about this and they said they just needed the application by Nov 1. So if the report takes until a few days after that to be generated, it's not a big deal.gaud wrote:longhorns89 wrote:Well now I'm waiting with all of yall! Accepted by phone.
Not TX resident.
Status Checker still says my application is complete and is under review.
He told me that an acceptance package would be coming in the mail over the next couple of weeks.
