Got solicited and unsolicited fee waivers from them today. Definitely applying with my 3.3/169. Hopefully this cycle is easier due to dropping applicants, and thus they accept me/give me more money.

Solicited means that you asked for the waiver, unsolicited means the school just sent it to you without you petitioning for it.

It is, but I received waivers from UCLA, Vandy, UPenn, Columbia, UMich, UVA, Northwestern, Duke and a few others. Just seems odd. Oh well.

if your LSAT <168, that's probably why.

It is, but I received waivers from UCLA, Vandy, UPenn, Columbia, UMich, UVA, Northwestern, Duke and a few others. Just seems odd. Oh well.

Most of these schools are GPA whores (UCLA, Vandy, Penn, Duke). If you have a higher GPA, that might be why. Columbia and UVa sent them out to almost everyone, it seems like, and Northwestern might be looking for reverse splitters to balance out their class as well. WUSTL pretty clearly favors the LSAT.

Damn straight you are. Trust me, a visit will clinch it. Admissions at wustl undergrad are really good at selling it, and I imagine the law school is too. Let me know if you visit before ASWs roll around, I'll hook you up with some profs and students to chat with.

that's really weird; my LSAT is a 167 and i got a solicited and an unsolicited from WUSTL, was denied at umich and no repsonse from vandy/penn/uva/northwestern so i'm guessing that's a no haha
