Re: U. Of Florida "no decision"
My letter was sent out 3/3 and i got it today, it was a rejection. my lsat was a 155, everyone who got it sent that day was below a 160, and the prior week (2/28) everyone that got one was an acceptance I would guess. as for the rest of you Good luck in the waitlist. If you look at last years post they start taking people of the list in May and all the way until the week before school starts. I will be taking the LSAT again, pretty foolish to risk getting in below the 25%tile

I don't think I can handle waiting until May or later. The wait is killing me as it is and it's only March.

Wow, LSN shows a former female marine with WE dinged at a 3.67/159. I would have thought waitlist. I'm currently torn between wanting status to change and being glad it hasn't.
Edit: She was also denied from Stetson and had to estimate her GPA. Given Stetson, [not that there's anything wrong with it] she probably missestimated. Everyone can stop the panic now. haha.

I don't know.. I feel like the only thing keeping me alive at this point is the fact that I applied so early. I also have some decent softs.. but then again, being a marine is probably a pretty good soft also.alicrimson wrote:Wow, LSN shows a former female marine with WE dinged at a 3.67/159. According to the main UF thread, Fortune called the office and they said yes they are open, yes they are making decisions this week, and decisions should be made by April 1st.

Before April 1st? So barring any waitlists, I guess we'll all know somewhat soon. Thanks for the infopinkcamellia wrote:According to the main UF thread, Fortune called the office and they said yes they are open, yes they are making decisions this week, and decisions should be made by April 1st.

Not even 11am and I've already been on the status checker 4 times... This isn't healthy.
I hate not having any control over the situation.

Re: U. Of Florida "no decision"
I got so impatient with this situation today that I called UF...
Really nice lady answered the phone...pretty much told me not to read into anything regarding my application and that "no decision made" is literally what has happened...I'm not being wait listed, etc
Also told me that she believes decisions will be made before the April deposit deadlines for other schools (My deposit for Miami is due April 15th)
I really hope we get some updates soon...

Dear UF: If you're upset about my admission to FSU, please know that I will give him up for you if you just admit me already!

Re: U. Of Florida "no decision"
To the University of Florida Levin College of Law law admissions committee, I'm sorry, I'm extremely sorry. I was hoping for a good LSAT score. That was my goal, but I failed. I promise you one thing, a lot of good will come out of this. (If you admit me) You will never see any law student in the entire country work as hard as I will work over the next three years. You will never see someone push the rest of the class as hard as I will push everybody. You will never see someone love UF as much as I love UF. God bless

Re: U. Of Florida "no decision"
I keep trying to convince myself that there's no way UF would wait until March to verify my residency if they just planned on rejecting me anyway, right? I mean... why put in the extra time and effort five/six months after I applied unless they had an acceptance ready to go?? ..this is what I do with my time now. Just a bunch of speculating.. lol

+1. It was a really recent fling on my part, UF. Silly and fleeting. Who loves you, baby?pinkcamellia wrote:Dear UF: If you're upset about my admission to FSU, please know that I will give him up for you if you just admit me already!

Re: U. Of Florida "no decision"
I have a bad feeling that Miami's significant drop in the rankings is going to steer a lot of would-be UM scholly accepters into UF and FSU attendees... this could greatly affect some of our chances of being accepted. Hope that's not the case, but it's certainly a possibility
