i think you might be on to something...i'm in at P but havent heard a peep from M or V even though I applied end Sept/early Oct...

There might be something to that theory of MVP sitting down and distributing the applicants to each school...LOL!

completely. in at UVA, waitlisted at Penn (and chicago! WTF), REJECTED at michigan.

Ugh, that's rough. Can I ask which T30s? Feel free to tell me to fuck off if it's too raw. I'm sure with numbers like that, your cycle won't keep sucking this bad.

i haven't heard anythinggg from M, V, or P (which i thought were my matches?), but am in at NYU and Chicago (uber reaches), Berkeley, Georgetown, and my safeties. i guess none of them wanted me?

Congrats everyone on all the great recent acceptances! In at Chicago and UVA (?!?! don't know how, but I'll take it

) so it makes the possibility of an impending Michigan rejection that much less scary.

ETA: As soon as I post about a potential Michigan rejection, I got the hold email. The other day I posed about sweeping MVP with waitlists, then got in at UVA. Maybe I should keep posting expecting bad outcomes? It seems to trigger better ones lol

I'm not really sure what to do at this point. I don't have any updated anything as I've been out of school for close to a decade and have climbed the ladder to the top of my company so no promotions. Is a LOCI a good idea at this point? I've already submitted 3 LOR's.

I am part of the 10/26 complete club and did not receive the "hold" email. Today my status checker updated to decision and I can't log into the admitted students site, so I'm assuming rejection.

Well on the status checker website wouldn't it say "waitlist offer extended?" And it seems people have been getting rejection letters in the mail recently. I haven't got mail in 3 days because of the snow. But I hope it's a waitlist! I guess

I'm really really hoping to hear from them soon!! I thought I was a strong applicant and might be willing to pay sticker price. WL at Penn but in early at NYU, so weird!!

Sometimes I wonder if you just get lucky with your adcomm on any given day.

I also didn't get that hold e-mail even thought I've been complete since 10/26...
