Re: U Washington 2011 Applicants
good luck to everyone in review already! I have had the "Awaiting CAS Report" status since 11/15, and I was a bit worried until I saw this thread.
Hopefully they'll get around to my app soon.

I've been awaiting the LOR checkbox since 11/2. I'm just lowering my expectations to a late January decision at best.

Ditto, except "Awaiting CAS Report" since 10/29.

I emailed yesterday to see if anything was wrong with my file and here's the auto response I got:
Loooooooooooooooooong wait ahead, matey!Thank you for your message and interest in UW School of Law. Our records indicate that we have your application and CAS report. We are currently in the process of processing applications in our office. No actions are required from you at this time. The time required to process each of these documents in our office may vary given the volume of application materials received. We very much appreciate your patience as we work to complete your file!
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

Sooo.... I just checked my status checker, and now, finally, I am "ready for review" as of 12/03/10.

Re: U Washington 2011 Applicants
Aright, I submitted on 11/17 and still they haven't received my CAS report. UWash is miles behind every other school I applied to, despite being one of the very first applications I sent out. Frustrating because I like this school so much, yet W&L, which I really have no intentions of going to, accepted me within 5 days...go figure.
I guess after this week its time to e-mail admissions. Seemed to work for other people on this thread to get the ball rolling.

I know the feeling, but it seems like patience is the name of the game with UW. Based on years past and what some of the admissions staff have reportedly said, I would be surprised if most of us do not wait another four to six weeks before we get definite answers.Birdlaw wrote:Aright, I submitted on 11/17 and still they haven't received my CAS report. Re: U Washington 2011 Applicants
They sent me my status checker in about a week and I applied when there was less traffic (end of Oct) so I'd give it a couple more days. If it's not in by Thurs/Fri, I'd send them an e-mail requesting a status check on your status checker.kineticx wrote:I applied Thursday and no email yet. Got an e-mail with the status checker this morning. I'm still waiting on the CAS report?
Anyone else know how long it took for that issue to resolve itself?

I'm still waiting (since 11/17). Looks like some people's have changed and others have not. I figure they'll get around to it eventually?athenian wrote:Got an e-mail with the status checker this morning. I'm still waiting on the CAS report?

Has anyone called about a fee waiver request? I initially asked for one 11-11 and followed up a week later. They finally told me they were "considering my request" and have sent me nothing since.

Communication doesn't seem to be their strong suit. I e-mailed them about a pending Dec. LSAT that I canceled and they didn't reply back... the next day my status popped to Complete and then I went UR 12/01.LeDique wrote:Has anyone called about a fee waiver request? At what point should I call and ask what the deal is with the CAS report?

Re: U Washington 2011 Applicants
I'll join! I just applied to UW today (I know, super last minute after payday) but I'm hoping that based on all the talk of 'non-rolling' admissions I won't be at much of a disadvantage... The more I'm seeing about UW the more I'm liking!Aggiegrad2011 wrote:Probably not, but this thread is dead and I wanted to liven it up!
