+1. I'm still waiting. Come on South Texas, hurry up!
I like to think that since today is the deadline, decisions should start coming out with some regularity. At least I sure hope so.

Very true. I'm hoping we start hearing more good news tomorrow.

I'm with you. Frustrated. I applied first day and went complete on the second. Still not word or even indication that they have looked at it. I wish they'd hurry!

Still complete from 12/2 :?
Do they just go complete to decision with no "in review"?

Complete 12/1, myself.
And from what it sounds like, that's exactly what happens. I believe they just send you an acceptance e-mail, and then your status checker changes to, "accepted".

So can you confirm you were ''complete'', then all of a sudden you were accepted via email?

My status said complete since 1/16 (or around that date), and then I just got the email today and the status changed to accepted

I just got my accepted e-mail today around 3:30. I checked my status yesterday and still had the no decision made posted as of 1/15/2011. Mine did say complete and now says Admitted notification emailed.

I emailed admissions earlier today to ask when wait listed candidates would be reviewed again. Apparently, it will occur around April 15th, when the first seat deposits are due. I was encouraged to send another email in late March for more exact information.

Does it seem that STCL is starting from the top and the bottom and working their way to the middle? LSN gives me the impression that they admitted all of the top scores and denied/waitlisted all of the low and are now at the middle. I am completely unfamiliar with this process so if this is obvious I am sorry for even posting this. Also, I do not intend this post to offend anyone. Again, I am completely naive to this process.

I'm not so certain about that. LSN numbers show low LSAT and high LSAT, and median and high GPA. I was admitted with a below median GPA and a 162 LSAT, and I was admitted...well...early?

But weren't you a special circumstance, though?

Only for the reason of being admitted roughly a few days earlier, yes. Aside from that, I'm a white, out-of-state male. Unless STCL likes people planning to go JAG (I've always wondered if any law school likes that, as it messes with their employment stats), I don't personally feel there was anything different that affected me. Chances are, to a large extent, you are right but they could just be going down the pile.

162 is pretty high for STCL.

Oh, I thought you had said that your pre-law advisor had called them and they looked at your app early.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
