Good! Yeah, UH seems to have a pretty sharp "LSAT ceiling", if you would call it that. I think with a 168 you should be in good shape. Are you a texas resident?upfish wrote:

Yes! Residency secured as of this month. =) I moved to Houston last year in November.

that's good too. I'm sure the majority of UH applicants are Texas residents, so it's probably not a huge boost, but it certainly can't hurt.

Yeah, I figured not being a resident would hurt me more than being a resident would help me, if that makes sense.

Does anyone know when the first round of decisions were made last year?

Looking at LSN, it seems that the first round went out on December 15th. I don't know if that will translate to this year though.TJISMYHERO wrote:Does anyone know when the first round of decisions were made last year?

Surely if they are rejecting people today, they would also be accepting people today. Right?TT09 wrote:Someone already got rejected today, per LSN.deliriousxix wrote:UR as of yesterday. According to LSN, I think a big wave of acceptances will go out mid-dec..

Re: University of Houston 2011
the person they rejected was applying for the PT.. maybe that's why. They might accept people with numbers way above the 75% range, but last year it looks like a lot of the acceptances were dispensed in groups on a particular day. I'm not sure if they will follow that same trend this year though.

So has there only been one rejection today? It seems odd that nobody else has heard back one way or the other.

According to LSN, acceptances last year started rolling out on Dec. 14 and 16th. I'm hoping we hear something this week.

Just withdrew my app for U of H. I switched my GULC app to binding ED and got in, so it looks like I'm headed to DC. However, I would have been happy to go to UH had things turned out differently. Best of luck to all you guys, I'm rooting for you!
