Sounds like my attitude towards my PS sometimes.
I submitted my scholar merit award app with my application, I hate letting things go. I also wasn't going to request an interview because there's nobody even remotely close to me to do so, but I'm gonna request a phone interview.

How do you check the status checker?

Re: Vanderbilt 2011
I think you have to make an account on their website. Virtual VLS or something like that. It should be the same account you used to schedule an interview, if you did so (if you didn't, you should still be able to make an account).shanshan333 wrote:How do you check the status checker?

Yeah, I know but it's very confusing. It says to update your profile with your LSAC number and then I go through my profile and there is no place to put my LSAC #. Annoying..

Re: Vanderbilt 2011
Finally found it, thanks! Just complete ;/. I requested an interview today since it's the last day. I suppose I can always cancel if it doesn't work out.hipstermafia wrote:I seem to remember having to go through several pages of random stuff to put in my lsac number, it was quite confusingshanshan333 wrote:Yeah, I know but it's very confusing. You can still interview before your app is in. Request it! It may be mid December by the time you get your interviewer and agree on a time anyway.merc280 wrote:to those people including me that are applying toward middle of December they don't allow interviews do they? I spoke with someone in the admissions office, and he said they don't start considering them until the deadline. So, you could apply now, and then submit the law merit scholars app later. He said that wouldn't hurt my chances of getting the scholarshipeskimo wrote:Ugh, this thread being bumped reminds me I still need to apply. I just can't get those Law Merit Scholars essays done...

I agree you should schedule an interview. You can interview before applying so do it. The interview is with an alum and it's a pretty laidback informational interview.

Re: Vanderbilt 2011
okay so in a rush to schedule an interview before the deadline which is like 10 minutes i have scheduled an interview. regarding the virtual vuls site, am i able to edit the interests and stuff after I have registered? I signed up in a hurry and didn't read through half of it.
also, what exactly do they usually ask in the interview?
