Got some splitter love from georgetown today. 3.49/173. Hope this is a sign of things to come (aka MVP or pray CCN?), not a big tease lol.

Do you mind telling us when you applied/went complete? I'm guessing you're not ED since you're waiting on other schools. I have similar numbers to yours, and I'd love to know!

Well, I just got my score, and I'm officially a splitter! 172(retake)/3.3 Woot! Sending out apps tonight and tomorrow, so let's hope for some splitter love.

Splitter with 3.46/174 (first try.) Hoping to maybe convince my UG to give me a W for a class I repeated (PE class I made a D then replaced with an A) at my school by making the claim that they intended it to be non-punitive and that unless they do that it will still be punitive. That would give me a 3.51 and exactly 25/75 at Columbia, I meet with his deanliness on monday so we'll soon see. Also have a 2.3GPA freshy year and a 3.94GPA after that so should be interesting.

Applying to SCCNPD, Texas, USC, CU-Boulder.

I applied oct. 1st and I think I went complete the 25th? Not positive. Not ED. It is weird that the last school I sent an app. to is the first to hear back from.

Reverse splitter with 170/4.04....I know HY are long-shots, but what about Columbia, Stanford, and NYU?

No offense, but you call this a split? Awesome GPA and 97th percentile LSAT score looks like two thumbs up to me. I say you're in at NYU, looking good at Columbia, and even have a shot at HY. Go for the gold.

Thanks omninode....I think it's just TLS getting to me and seeing all these high 170s. =/ I was originally thinking of EDing Columbia, but now am actually considering RDing and aiming for HY on the slim chance that I make it. Good luck to all of us!

Officially in splitter no-man's land with Oct release. 180/3.5x means I'm heading to Columbia or something.

A splitter you may be, but I don't think you're any where near "no-man's land" with a score like that! :D congrats!

Incomp - im interested to see where that lands you, are you gonna take a shot at anything above CCN?

Also just got my first fee waiver, UVA, in response to a burst of requests I sent off saturday morning to NYU and down on my list of schools. 3.46/174 for those wondering. Also, I took the test at UVA, not sure if they can see that but maybe it counts for something if they can.

I went ahead and applied to Harvard. Decent softs + nontrad might boost me in...that's what I'm banking on at this point (that and me killing any JR1 I get).

Anyone else find it interesting that schools like NYU will give us splitters fee waivers but lower ranked schools such as USC won't because we don't meet their GPA cutoff for fee waivers.

GULC and Cornell have both refused my fee-waiver requests (From a June score), 172/3.5

Don't forget NU.

It really depends on the split. For Penn ED: >3.2, >172? Pretty good chances. >3.0, >175? Most likely in. There was a 2.9/179 splitter who was accepted to Penn either last cycle or two cycles ago...but neither M or P seems to be very happy about dipping below 3, as it doesn't happen too often. Apparently prestigious undergrad helps with P, don't know about M.

Hmm, maybe I should suck it up, write the extra essay, and submit an app to Penn. But they didn't give me a waiver and I'm lazy :?

Yeah, leaning towards laziness.

I think you would be in RD, especially with a 5 year plan/Why Penn. But those extra essays...not fun, not fun at all. Penn was the last essay I submitted because of my laziness :(
