Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh
I can deal with a JS2, but I at least want the chance to interview and convince.

It will come guys.
I also hope the extended deadline doesn't mean that applicants held in practice will get pushed back even further.

IIRC, there have been a fair number of people who received JS2s but didn't get a JS1 until several weeks after going complete. For those of you who are starting to get worried, try not to stress out too much, although it is obviously much easier said than done (look at who is giving you the advice
).
I applied to HYS CCN and Duke, and have faced months of silence from HYS and Columbia. Dat silent uncertainty........

I've been complete as of 11/19 but radio silence since then. My numbers are a far cry, but surviving all the ding waves is giving me false sense of hope. Last school in my cycle too...I'll take a JS1 even if they're only giving it to me for their own comic relief

Aw, you're golden then. You have some awesome schools, and (I presume) will get schollys at both. I would relax and let the cycle progressdrawstring wrote:Both

Approaching the two-month mark in about ten days. Gotta say the wait has been much harder than I thought it would be despite me having to work my ass off in busy season. Literally pulling my hair out.drawstring wrote:So who has been JS1.5 for over a month? Curious to see how many of us there are ITT.

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
after such a busy thurs/friday last week (dings, JS1s, JS2s), i think we may need to resign ourselves to a good long wait.
my guess is no word until Thursday, at which point there will be a hammering of anywhere between three score and six dozen dings -- but only two on TLS. Both these fair-fortuned rejects will receive good news from Yale the next morning, concurrent with a wave of JS1s here on TLS. Meanwhile those of us in JS1.5 purgatory will suffer on into the next week.

I can't believe this thread is almost 300 pages.

It's funny to compare the length of this thread to just about every other school's...
