I fully understand the mood that a hold can put one in (being held myself). I wanted to be sensitive to the feelings of others around me.

I am, though I'm not sure I count since I only went complete 1/14 due their waiting for my December LSAT (applied late Nov/early Dec).

Edit: folks who got the hold today, when did you go complete?

I fully expect not to know anything until Friday. I just got priority mail from the East Coast yesterday. It was sent at the same time of the supposed Columbia envelopes which are only first class. Therefore, I fully expect not to know my fate for awhile. Don't even care anymore.

Glitched, worst case scenario they ding me and I choose between NYU and UChi...it is what it is. (You'll hear me say that last phrase a lot if you go to school with me) I'm not going to spend my slackerish final semester of senior year worrying about whether or not the fairy godmother of CLS will bestow a VCE upon me. It's not that serious.

Don't remember complete date. Submitted in September. Forgotten until they remembered that I like to wait for things, then they remembered to make me wait some more. Do people really get accepted from this "hold" thing? Or should I just chalk this up as a loss?

Holds are new so not sure what the chances are but I would guess pretty good based on who is held.

Same for me. Still forgotten. I'm expecting that my chances are pretty low at this point though, so I'll just take the news when it comes. In the meantime I will consider my other options with much excitement!

I'm finding it amusing that the "Held at..." threads are starting to always be at the top now when I log in. Hopefully deadlines will mean movements. And ASWs might mean movement if they lead to mass deposits/withdrawals. We shall all see.
