I went and saw it too. Raptors are TOO real in 3D. I watched that movie until the VHS fell apart as a kid and I was still jumping out of my skin at every scary momentdigifly wrote:Jurassic Park in 3D tonight guys. I hate 3D, but I love JP! Time for some mindless fun to forget the ding waves!

I guess I'll be stuck going to Penn and taking my chances with the 66% large firm placement. Life is just horrible.ohpobrecito wrote:shntn wrote:MyNameIsFlynn! wrote:WL

Yup. And it places well in random little markets I have my eye on. And I won't have to move, saving me boatloads of money.liupang wrote:I think I see somewhere that Penn is #1 in biglaw placement?shntn wrote: I guess I'll be stuck going to Penn and taking my chances with the 66% large firm placement. Perspective is definitely necessary in this situation. I just mentioned to a couple of friends that I got waitlisted, and they are extremely impressed. To the average person, getting WL at Harvard is a pretty big accomplishment. If it doesn't work out we'll just have to settle for a top ten law school. woe is us.

When I total people that Harvard held me (after I explained what that meant) their eyes lit up like I was some kind of god. I miss it.shntn wrote:Yeah I told some folks and they're congratulating me like crazy. LOLkay.RSterling wrote: Perspective is definitely necessary in this situation. So, JS2 will definitely be a phone call first, right? So if I get a gmail notifier alert, I will not need to read it to know that I get dinged/WLed?

ETA: nvm just saw the new wl's. Sorry guys.
So far this cycle all JS2s have been phone calls but towards the end of last year's cycle they started admitting folks via email.liupang wrote:So, JS2 will definitely be a phone call first, right? So if I get a gmail notifier alert, I will not need to read it to know that I get dinged/WLed?

When you say "a friend" you mean literally someone who is not you, right? I'm vicariously stressing out right now... Sorry to today's WLs.sd1234 wrote:GertrudeR wrote:ETA: nvm just saw the new wl's. Sorry guys.
