Re: U Washington
When did you go "Ready for review"? I've been R4R since 12/29/09, so I'm just trying to gauge whether they are doing this in waves or not...eldizknee wrote:Finally went into review today. About how long does it take to get a decision?

Re: U Washington
Ready for review since 1/11. So either they lost my app or they're not going in order.eldizknee wrote:gatorlion wrote:When did you go "Ready for review"? 1/27, so it looks like they're not necessarily going in order for whatever reason

I've been ready for review since 1/12 (submitted my application early December, but one LOR writer took forever... sigh).

Hey all. I just got my acceptance in the mail today.
Not sure when I actually went 'complete'. Ready for review 1/27. In review 2/22. Decision letter dated 2/26.

Are there other 1/27 ready for review people who haven't gone in review yet?

fwiw I have been in review since 2/3. Right now I just hope for a quick yes so I can jump up and down and celebrate or a quick no so I can get my LSAT study materials and be far better prepared for next year's cycle. I would feel a little old entering law school at 28, but then again why rush into the rat race...enjoy your youth while you have it...someone validate that sentiment please

Not to further confuse those of you who are trying to figure out the psychology behind admissions this year, but I received an acceptance today in the mail. 159, 3.7 coming right from undergrad (Top 20 school), out of state (south)...nothing really unique about me.

Thanks! My status went blank last Friday, 2/26 - the day the letter was dated.

Re: U Washington
Well I hope whatever it is they liked about me you guys had it in your applications too! The only thing I can really think of that might have given me that extra boost is about 3 weeks ago I sent in a letter explaining an internship that I recently got for the spring. It is a public interest/legal internship, but on top of being relevant (my personal statement and application were all about public interest law), it could have illustrated my desire to go? kind of like a loci? I dunno...but good luck everyone!!!mango26 wrote:congrats! you must have had something unique about you that they liked.fishoutofwater wrote:Not to further confuse those of you who are trying to figure out the psychology behind admissions this year, but I received an acceptance today in the mail. 159, 3.7 coming right from undergrad (Top 20 school), out of state (south)...nothing really unique about me.

Don't worry, that's not old; it's the perfect age, just enough life experience.PlugInBaby wrote:fwiw I have been in review since 2/3.
