Law schools need to just eliminate the status checker system.
It's fun as hell, that's why I do it...

Or at least do away with the "decision letter mailed/decision made" stuff and just announce the decision on the status checker site.

Anyone with a December retake get a 'decision mailed' message on their checker today? I applied in early November but officially went complete on 1/4, I hope it won't be too much longer!

From the W&L "complete" email:
"[W]e assure you that no news is indeed good news - as long as you have not received a decision, you are being actively considered for a seat at W&L Law."
I really don't think they're lying.

Same here. Complete 11/19/09. Hoping that the lack of change in status does not equal rejection.

Status checker changed to:
Current Status: Decision reached; notification pending.
Current Status Date: 1/14/2010
The decision letter sent date was 1/13
Should know soon!
Good luck 1/13 decisions!

LSN has them coming in March, but apparently a few have already been WLed this year. Maybe they are trying something new?

I don't know of anyone on TLS who has been WLed.

That was what I was referencing, but her LSN profile does not represent as much.

Robin600 said she was WL'ed. It's back in this thread somewhere...
No: Robin complained about not having been accepted yet and said that she thought she would be WLed.

Based on past history, it looks like getting a decision this early is a good thing.
Of course, I'm still sure I was denied.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
