Re: NYU 2010
Well, it wouldn't actually be forwarding it, just having them send it to a different address in the first place. I'm seriously considering doing this because I'm ED so they would have to send something by January anyway, and I don't want the letter sitting in my mailbox at college 4 hours away from where I'll be. It'll just be asking the admissions office to send it to my permanent address, which is already on my app anyway.louboutin wrote: I already talked to the post office at my school. The woman send there's no point in setting up a forwarding system because it's more likely the mail would get lost than it would make it to me at my home address.

For those of you who have received your decisions, when did you apply?

It can't be done. I either have to accept status as world's biggest creeper, or wait 3 weeks.
What's worse?!
But I'm not getting in anywhere anyway so I guess it doesn't matter. USS: Pessimism Here I come

My dates are in my LSN, but I applied 9/24. However, I forgot to send in a Deans Certification until later than that, but it didnt seem to slow down my app.acdisagod wrote:For those of you who have received your decisions, when did you apply?

Do you know that yours is already in the mail so you cant ask them to send it somewhere else? Or do you just not want to email them with an address change?louboutin wrote:It can't be done. I either have to accept status as world's biggest creeper, or wait 3 weeks.

I'm afraid of bugging them. And then bugging them again in 3 weeks if a letter doesn't come. I've heard they're quite moody.ChaotiCait wrote:Do you know that yours is already in the mail so you cant ask them to send it somewhere else? Re: NYU 2010
I understand that, and it concerns me as well, but as I see it, I'm ED, so they have to send me something in the month of December. I will be at another address for the remainder of December. So seeing as there is a guarantee that they will send something and I wont be here, I feel like changing the address until January is justified. I mean, they probably only have to type something in on the computer real quick, and they told me to email them if I had an address change.louboutin wrote:I'm afraid of bugging them. Just got my big purple envelope in the mail!
Letter dated 12/1, postmarked 12/4. It just got here even though the USPS calculator said it should make it to me Saturday if it was sent on the 4th, so don't take those calculations too seriously. USPS can be kind of weird.

Your conscience will suffer mightily when we all wear our "Fuck Stanford" t-shirts.crackberry wrote:On another note, I don't think I could ever - in good conscience - call it "Cal." That name conjures up too many negative associations for me. I'd have to call it "Berkeley" or "Boalt." Those, for whatever reason, are more neutral.VoidSix wrote:I would much rather spend three years in Berkeley. I'd also like to stay in the Bay Area someday. So that makes Berkeley attractive. But I wouldn't mind spending some years with the NAACP or ACLU, so that makes NYU look better. I'd probably still go to Cal.
