Sorry.
No Problem. I feel like this thread has gone off on a huge tangent though, lol.
Pretty crazy. This is perhaps the first tangent in the history of message boards.
Really!?

Congrats!
What were your stats, if you do not mind.
I just PMed you. Not comfortable posting stats for display, but feel free to PM me, and I will tell you them. I went complete back in October.

nerdproject- did your status go from "eligible for review" > "under committee review" > " reviewed-decision pending" > "decision in transit". or did it go straight from under review to decision in transit?

I've been complete since the middle of November. I went into review mid-December, then they put me into the "Decision Pending" category on 1/22.

Been "decision pending" for around two months, maybe more, now. I've got a 3.8 GPA, 161 LSAT, In-state with decent softs and applied early (October).
They've been exceptionally rude on the phone, and my friends at UF undergrad can't wait to leave Gainesville. I think I'd rather attend a law school in a large, metropolitan city. And, if their admissions department is indicative of the school's attitude as a whole (and I believe it is, given stories on not only this forum but from my friends) , I certainly have no interest in UF.
I will probably withdraw this week. Good luck to everyone.

They have been really rude to me, too.

Regarding rudeness on the phone - you have to understand that they process 2500 applications per cycle. If everyone calls just once for some reason between November and February, that's about 30 calls a day. You can say that it's "their job," but at the same time, I would be willing to bet that most calls could be answered via the website.
I called once to book a tour, had no problems, and don't foresee a reason to call back.

Plus not EVERY applicant calls...some call because of very particular concerns that don't apply to ALL applicants and to be treated rudely is a big turn-off when making a decision. That being said, I would like a Florida acceptance very much.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
