I also called a week ago and was told that the entering class is very full. Bad news for us waitlisters...TheRealCharlesDarwin wrote:So, any news?? I also called admissions over a week ago, who told me that they may see some movement on July 15. Has anyone heard anything? It's already the July 18th and the other law school to which I have submitted my seat deposit is all the way in California and classes begin in mid-August. What to do??

Re: Boston University C/O 2019 (2015-2016) Applicants
I second this, I was forced to take a year bc of bad planning and bc of retake ended up taking a second year off as well and I regret nothing. Technically I could have gone after the first take bc of not getting a better score yet I still enjoyed having my 2 years off from school (worked full time at a small 3-4 person law office for 90%+ of the time off) and am v excited to head back to school, probably more so than I would have been w/o time off so it def isn't a bad thing to take off. My gpa is negligibly different than yours and scored 3 pts higher and got admitted but w/ $0(p sure I got $25k after neg) so if BU is truly your goal and you are set on it readjust your approach and get quality studying in. If you can add 4-5 pts your in a solid positionDr. Nefario wrote:Wasn't taken as rude or offensive at all. Taking a year off could also benefit you employment wise. Its not too late to be a paralegal for a year which would be excellent WE.kwice wrote:
Thank you for the information. I wasn't trying to be rude in my prior response regarding my plan to transfer, but I apologize if I offended you. I truely do appreciate any help that you or anyone else gives me!
In regards to my thought process, I personally feel that I will be able to perform better in classes than by taking the LSAT again. I finished undergrad for the sole purpose of attending law school, so I am not sure what I would do if I took a year off. It is good to know, though, that many people with the same plan have not succeeded in transferring, so I will definitely take that into consideration.
Thanks again!!!
eta: I'm not attending BU bc boo them for not giving me more $
