Feel kind of dumb asking this, but has anyone else still not applied yet?
I'm still waiting for my LSAT score and at this point, I'm considering waiting until next cycle just so I could apply early in the game. Even if I do get the score I need, how much at a disadvantage do you guys think I would be in applying late January?

Re: Penn c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
It doesn't seem like Penn has sent out much in the way of acceptances currently (based on TLS response), but you can check LSN to see if people have reported there. It may not affect you as much as at a school like Duke or UVA who have already accepted a bunch in the way of Duke's PT and UVA's fairly quick turnaround time. It is definitely better to get it in earlier, but there are going to be lots of people waiting to either apply or update their apps with the Dec LSAT score, so I don't think you are too much in the hole. Only slightly behind if I had to put a description on it (which can be made up for by a >median/75th LSAT score coming in, no doubt).studyingeveryday wrote:Feel kind of dumb asking this, but has anyone else still not applied yet?

Thank you! I guess at this point all I can do is wait for my score.lymenheimer wrote:It doesn't seem like Penn has sent out much in the way of acceptances currently (based on TLS response), but you can check LSN to see if people have reported there. I don't think it's a sign of a ding, necessarily, just that you might have a slow reader/the holidays.James.K.Polk wrote:I still amslippin_jimmy wrote:Finally UR2! I was one of the lingering UR1 11/30 folks.Wish they'd just ding me already so I can remove the status checker from my bookmarks!

Is UR2 something all people go through, or are you usually dinged at UR1?

the what-to-expect thread says that penn typically has quick turnaround between ur2 and decision -- does anyone have a sense of what "quick" means?

I think so far it's looked like about a week - there's some discussion a few pages back from those who already got in. With the holiday break they had, that might not be too helpful, though.meowmers wrote:the what-to-expect thread says that penn typically has quick turnaround between ur2 and decision -- does anyone have a sense of what "quick" means?

I wouldn't put too much weight on the "quick" description. I creeped through last year's thread and as the cycle continued, many people were still waiting a month or so after going UR2.rska884 wrote:I think so far it's looked like about a week - there's some discussion a few pages back from those who already got in.
