Has anyone who went complete at the end of February/beginning of March heard back?
Thanks!

Thanks! Didn't think so, but one never knows--glad this is such a friendly community! Should have joined at the beginning of the cycle rather than at the end :)

I'm complete end of Feb, haven't heard a peep. Can't recall seeing anyone saying they've heard back who went complete around then either.

Just want to send some love and respect to the people who have been waiting since October/November. Thinking of you all. For as much as we make light of it, this can be a rough process and I hope you are all ok!
I went complete around 12/20 and hope to hear soon.

This should be a big week - historically there have been many admits and rejections this week.

The office is closed on Friday for the holiday. I believe the deadline for registering for admitted students weekend is Friday. This means almost all admits should be out Mon-Thurs, maybe a few special cases that linger into the following week for whatever reason. For those who don't hear this week, it's a highly likely rejection or waitlist.

Get ready!

Last two years the ding wave went out around this Monday, and two years ago it went out at like 1 am EST (between Monday and Tuesday). Meaning it could happen overnight, meaning I'm putting my phone on airplane mode before I go to bed to avoid my ding greeting me first thing in the morning.

Good luck this week, frands!

A (pathetic) part of me would almost prefer this, so at least I wouldn't have to spend another full day agonizing over decisions.

Good luck all!

So is it safe to assume that if you submitted after the new year and a wave of acceptances with similar complete dates passed you by, then you were either an auto-ding or you made it through FR but did not receive a 12? Basically it's not looking terribly bright for people in this category...? :( I guess we'll find out very soon... :|

Anyhow, good luck everyone!!!

I am currently living in New Haven and so I receive unknown 203 calls on a fairly regular basis... Makes my heart stop every time. I've never had such gut-wrenching anxiety to receive food deliveries before.

Just have to survive the night.

Then who knows, maybe at dawn look to the east for a phone call.

I wonder why Yale doesn't just go ahead and reject a huge pile of applicants....it seems like there have been very few rejects compared to class size/number of applicants. Does anyone know/have any idea why they are delaying the inevitable?

My guess is they gave the faculty an April 1st [or other arbitrary date] deadline to finish the faculty review and they'll give out responses after that.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
