Hey there! So I got in early January. I'm quite an extreme splitter so I felt EXTREMELY lucky to have just gotten in. (Sub 2.5 + High 160s) I really wanna attend GW, but attending at sticker would be impossible for me. I just wanted to check in to see if any other splitters like me have gotten any $$ and also if anyone had negotiated their for $ for $$$?

I'm in a pretty similar situation and I have yet to here about$$. I really want to attend but it would be impossible without some type of cash. I hope we here soon. Fingers crossed. Do u think it would be weird/pushy if I emailed them about scholarship consideration/ if they would consider me for one?nyctibboy wrote:Hey there! So I got in early January. It's probably not too late - I did something similar when I applied last year, although I'd already been admitted to the FT program. Just call admissions and tell them you applied to FT, but you'd like to be considered for the PT program instead.mlaw08 wrote:Has anyone switched over their application from full time day student to part time? I submitted my application in early January, been toying with the idea of pursuing job opportunities and asking Admissions to switch me over and consider me as a part time applicant. Don't know if it's too late to do so and was just wondering if anyone had experience with this.

Checking in.
Applied: 1/28
Complete: 2/5
If my status checker says "Your application is complete and has been forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review" and the current status change is 2/7 does that actually mean I'm under review?? And if so, how long did it take from review to receive a decision? Thanks!

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I just read on the admitted students' portal that if you receive $16,000+/year in merit aid, you are automatically ineligible for receiving need-based aid from GW. I didn't know this until, so I wanted to share in case people were hoping for need-based grants as well.

Just checked the status checker and it says decision made... Does it actually take 10 business days to receive the emailed decision?
