Just out of curiosity is anyone still stuck in comparative review?

With the exception of the email from admissions last week has anyone had a status update since last Monday when they sent out the new batch of acceptances or is everything at a standstill?

I still am......

My last status date change was on 4/1, have you had any movement since then?
When did you turn in your app?

Now that the first deposit deadline is behind us you guys should see some movement soon. Sit tight. Good luck!

From my understanding and from what I've read around the internet it was those accepted early in the cycle and whom received scholarships, is this right?

Deposits for today were mostly for award acceptances. So now that money will be redistributed. I'm not sure if new awards will have an earlier deadline, but the May 15th (seat) deadline is for everyone.

Also worth noting - if students didn't accept awards they still have till May 15 to accept the seat, but they have lost the award.

As for the last portion of your response I'm going to go ahead and assume that if you do not accept the award then you have no intention in attending the school. I mean from my perspective it wouldn't make much sense to attend at full sticker price after having been offered $.

Sorry I didn't get to your question in time, but rdelaney is right. I also think that the second portion of your post is a fair assumption. They should have a general idea of how the incoming class is shaping up after today so those of you with strong numbers especially should see movement soon. Most likely response is that you were accepted. It seems that others have posted Waitlisted is a status update and rejections happen by e-mail (although none of those have been sent out yet this cycle). I don't want to get your hopes up...but all signs point to acceptance. Congrats.

My status read "admission offer mailed" when I was accepted a bout a week ago.


And I guess the scholarship stuff comes a week or so after the initial acceptance if at all?
