I guess it's good to know it's definitely coming tomorrow, but is there usually a lag between the status change and the decision? or does the lag mean I'm getting placed on priority WL for YP reasons (HYS ###s here)
Luckystar, I swear you're going to give yourself a heart attack. Que sera sera, brah.

someone else said they got the email 20 min after that status update. It's been almost 10 hours since that status update for me. I'm just trying to see if this lag means anything. I don't want to get YP WLed
It depends
I got mine in close to 20 minutes, but from looking at others exp. its not unusual for it to take hours

Still have heard nothing and no status change for PT app. Day 10. Maybe my complete day was later?

I am confused about one thing though. In the email, it says this:

"You will be officially admitted to Duke Law School when you complete the next step of our admission process – applying for financial aid and scholarship assistance. The Financial Aid Office will send you the scholarship application form and instructions in early December. Since you may qualify for a Duke Law scholarship, I encourage you to apply. If you apply, you will receive your official admission letter and a decision on your scholarship application soon after the Committee completes the scholarship review.

If you do not plan to apply for scholarship assistance but wish to consider an offer of admission from Duke, please inform our office so that we can officially admit you now"

Do I need to do this if all I am seeking is merit scholarships?
Scholarship assistance = merit scholarship. They give you a form, you send it in, they give you money.

So no, don't say, "hey, don't consider me for scholarships, I don't need your money."

If you don't want to be considered for need-based aid, just don't fill out Need-Access. You will need to fill out FAFSA anyway if you're taking out government loans though.

Does Duke send a separate application completed e-mail, or is the application received e-mail the only one they send?

I'm on Day 5 of my PT, and got a Duke Law info brochure in the mail today. Love that the letter is personally signed by Dean Hoye.

Do people's UR dates change several times over the course of the 10 days? I went under review a day after being complete, then got another date change the next day, and nothing since. Just curious what's normal.

Admitted! 173/3.8, PT
Day 10 - so I guess they did stick to the PT promise! I had no additional e-mails or status changes throughout the process, so don't worry if this is also happening for you!!

All the best everyone!

I have no idea how many people do overall, but your post inspired me to add some PT analytics to the Duke spreadsheet. Let me know if you guys think of any others.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
